There are 7 main dispensations ( periods of ministry, when information get's dispensed to a group of people ) in the bible, we must look at each dispensation, and what information ( maybe rules, regulations, ceremonies ) is introduce into that period of ministry, and then look at the next dispensation and what new things are introduce into it, then look at the past dispensation and see what things trickle down from it and apply in the new dispensation, and what things do not. In applying 2Tim.2:15 to our studies, there are some things in the bible we must divide or we will get it all mixed up. That's why we have sooo many different religions and confusion in the church today, because they don't know how to apply 2Tim.2:15 and rightly divide the word of God. God is NOT a God of confusion, right?
