Welcome Back, Panthers

Today, we are excited to welcome our students back for the first day of the 2026-27 school year!

A heartfelt thank you to our community greeters for helping us kick off the year with such warmth and positivity. Your smiling faces and enthusiastic welcome made a lasting impact on our students and families. It truly means the world to our Panthers to feel supported by such a caring community.

We are looking forward to a year filled with learning, growth, achievement, and unforgettable memories.

Let's make it a great year, Panthers! 🐾

Before the break at North Bend Elementary, our 4th grade students proudly presented their Tiny Town projects. Students created handmade items like fidgets, paintings, drawings, slime, bracelets, services, and so much more. They set up their own “stores,” complete with business names, and invited staff and community members to visit and spend paper money purchasing their goods.

Throughout the experience, students practiced pricing their items, making change, and counting their earnings at the end of the day. It’s a fantastic exercise in economics and a valuable opportunity to build real world skills such as entrepreneurship, customer service, and communication.

To honor our 5th graders, our entire school lined the hallways to clap them off as they begin their next journey into middle school. We are so proud of our 5th-grade Panthers and all of their hard work this year!

Watching you walk our hallways one last time—receiving high fives from staff and students—was truly a special moment. It was also wonderful to see how inspired our younger Panthers were by each of you.

We can’t wait to welcome you to Twin Falls Middle School in the fall. Wishing all our Panthers a happy and well-deserved summer!

Once a Panther, always a Panther.

Yesterday at North Bend Elementary, our incredible PTA absolutely outdid themselves—they hosted the most EPIC Field Day yet! 🎉🐾

From start to finish, the day was packed with unforgettable moments: Eastside Fire Department shot water high into the air to keep our Panthers cool, students enjoyed face painting, axe throwing, games, karaoke, and even a dunk tank! There were plenty of popsicles and hydration to beat the heat, plus our first-ever egg drop. Special thanks to Tanner Electric for making it happen!

We were also grateful for the Snoqualmie Sheriff’s Office stopping by to show their support for our school community.

It truly was an amazing day to be a Panther!

A HUGE thank you to our PTA and every volunteer, staff member, and community partner who made this day so special for our students. We appreciate you more than words can say! 🙌

A huge congratulations to our NBE Safety Patrol, who were treated to a fun movie day at the North Bend Theater to see The Wild Robot! This exciting field trip was made possible by the generous sponsorship of Alan LaBissoniere with Frontier Pest Control. Thank you for supporting our students!

Congratulations to Our Bikes for Books Winners! 🚲📚

We are excited to celebrate our Bikes for Books winners, Selah and Paul, both from Ms. DeAngelis’ 3rd grade class! These students had their names drawn at random for their participation in this year’s Bikes for Books program—what an exciting accomplishment!

We are so proud of all of our students who participated by showing a love of reading and commitment to learning.

A special thank you goes to Mrs. Flanagan for organizing this beloved event and helping make it such a memorable experience for our students.

Congratulations again, Selah and Paul—enjoy your new bikes! 🎉🚴‍♂️
