A reason. A season. A lifetime. Not everyone is a friend for life.
I remember first hearing that making life changes meant some people get left behind. Not everyone likes who or what you become. They try to change you back or disappear đź«
My first reaction NO! Shock. Disbelief.
It was a job interview and I was being tested to see if I’d do whatever it takes to get ahead.
Softening into this realisation over the years, I’ve embraced different philosophies. The psychologist Jung taught that as we become more radiant envy plays a role in people’s perception of us.
A spiritual teacher taught me about the energy of relationships. Like a battery that runs out of juice. Not everyone is plugged into the same system.
And consciousness plays a huge role in creating changes in how we show up and who wants to come along for the ride.
Some people grow with us. We don’t all think alike or follow the same pathways. But what we do is love, respect and support each other. That’s true lifelong friendship.
And it begins at any age or level. Be you, the wonderful you. And…
Relax. The YOUniverse has you.
Big love đź’•
