From the first warm-up to the final race, our PE teachers helped make today’s 6th Grade Track Meet a day full of teamwork, encouragement, and school spirit.

Thank you to our incredible PE staff for being part of an event that gives students the opportunity to challenge themselves, support one another, and have fun along the way. Your energy and dedication help keep our students moving, motivated, and confident both on and off the field.

Today, our showed up in red “Be Kind” shirts as a simple but powerful reminder that kindness, patience, and understanding make all the difference. Every child experiences the world in their own unique way,
and that’s something to celebrate, not change.

NBTA members were in Albany today, standing shoulder to shoulder with educators from across Long Island and New York State to demand one thing: Fix Tier 6.

Teachers dedicate their lives to their students, their schools, and their communities. 30 years is a career, and educators deserve a fair and secure path to retirement.

Together we raised our voices and showed that when educators unite, we are stronger. The fight isn’t over, but today we made it clear: Fix Tier 6. ✊
