Happy World Smile Day!😁

A smile can brighten someone’s day, spread positivity, and remind us that even the little moments matter. Today, we’re celebrating all the smiles that make our Menta community special! 💙

Yesterday, Menta schools gathered at Menta Academy Hillside for an exciting spelling bee! 🐝📚

Middle and high school students from multiple Menta schools came together to put their spelling skills to the test, compete, and cheer each other on. After the competition, everyone celebrated with pizza and enjoyed a great day together! 🍕🎉

Great job to all of our students who participated! 💙

Happy International Day of Peace! ✌️

Today, we celebrate the importance of kindness, understanding, and compassion. At Menta, we believe creating a positive and supportive environment starts with how we treat one another. 💙

Let's continue to choose kindness, embrace our differences, and work together to create a more peaceful world one day at a time. 🌎

25 years later, we remember.

Some days, September 11, 2001 feels like it was yesterday. Other days, it feels like every bit of the 25 years that have passed. But no matter how much time goes by, we remember.

We remember the victims of the tragedies in New York City and Washington, D.C. We remember the heroes of Flight 93, whose extraordinary courage and sacrifice saved countless lives before the plane crashed near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. We remember the first responders who ran toward danger, the families who lost loved ones, and all those whose lives were forever changed that morning.

We remember their names today, just as we have every single one of the 9,132 days since.

We will never forget. 🇺🇸

It might be the start of the year, BUT...that doesn't stop us from talking graduation.

We asked some of our Menta staff to share their graduation year — and paired each one with a popular song from when they graduated!

From throwbacks to songs that somehow don’t feel that old yet 😂, it’s a fun trip through the years with our team!

Now we want to hear yours! 👇
What year did you graduate, and what song takes you right back to that time?

Every student deserves to be seen, supported, and encouraged. 🍎

At Menta, our low student-to-teacher ratios allow educators to build meaningful relationships with each student while providing individualized instruction and support. Smaller class sizes create more opportunities for personalized learning, increased engagement, and the confidence students need to reach their full potential.

Happy Women's Equality Day! 💜

Today, we celebrate the achievements, leadership, and contributions of women who have helped shape our schools, communities, and future. Their dedication, resilience, and commitment continue to inspire the next generation of learners and leaders.

At Menta, we are grateful for the educators, staff, families, and community members who empower students every day by creating inclusive, supportive, and engaging learning environments where everyone has the opportunity to succeed.

Together, we can continue to encourage respect, opportunity, and excellence for all.

Just like movie days in school, building strong classroom relationships never gets old.

Melissa Leon, Program Director at CORE Academy, shares how restorative practices can help build stronger classroom communities, give students a voice, and create spaces where students feel connected, supported, and ready to learn.

Timeless approach = Stronger classrooms. 💙💚
