Healthy Meals at No Cost This Summer!

The Seamless Summer Meal Program is back for Summer 2026! We are dedicated to ensuring school-age children and eligible individuals have access to nutritious foods to learn, play, and grow all summer long.

Program Details

Who Qualifies: Healthy meals are served at no cost to school-age children 18 years & under, as well as disabled persons/children 21 years and under who are enrolled in school.

Onsite Policy: All meals MUST be eaten onsite.

Adult Meals: Adults are welcome to eat with their children! Adult meals can be purchased at the following rates: Breakfast: $3.20 | Lunch: $5.50.

And it’s summertime, Mossy Creek!
We made it! You worked hard, made memories, grew in so many ways, and have earned a well-deserved break! We hope everyone has the BEST summer filled with rest, relaxation, fun activities, adventures, and unforgettable memories with family and friends.
Thank you for making this school year so special. We are proud of each and every one of you and can’t wait to see what next school year will bring. Enjoy every minute of your summer, and we’ll see you back here on July 20th!

5th Grade Poem, by Klaire Presley, Mrs. Powell's Class
"About five years ago, we came through the elementary door,
Tiny backpacks, shiny eyes, sitting on the fresh floor.
We learned how to read, how to add, and to write,
With tricky homework problems that caused quite a fright!
We learned about friendships, how to share, and found out our teachers truly did care.
From the playground laughs, to the classroom Sunshine,
It's hard to believe that this chapter is officially over.
We studied the stories of the long ago past,
And created science projects that weren't meant to last.
We shared silly jokes, and made beautiful art,
And learned to be truthful, and follow our hearts.
We stumbled we fell, but we got back up,
Filled with hope, and a much larger cup.
We aren't the same kids who started in Kindy,
We are much smarter, stronger, and far less slindy!
Now, we seek at the road, a new one waiting for us,
With takes of the future, waiting to be read.
Middle school calls our names, it's big and it's new,
We might be nervous, of course, but we're ready to accomplish new things.
So farewell for now, our elementary home, we collect all these amazing memories, wherever we roam.
We're ready to learn, and ready to soar,
5th grade is over...but we're ready for more!"

And that’s a wrap! Our 5th grade awards were today and we are so very proud of these leaders at Mossy Creek! They have set goals and achieved so many ways, made memories, and grown up right before our eyes. Thank you to the families for sharing them with us for this special chapter — your partnership has made all the difference.

Now go do big things, middle schoolers! Keep leading, keep learning, and keep believing in yourselves. And never forget… once a turtle, always a turtle! 🐢💚💙

Mossy Creek parents, just a reminder that the next two days are early dismissal days at 11:00 AM! 🐢 Please make transportation and pick-up arrangements to ensure all students are picked up on time. And don’t forget — Thursday is our LAST day of school! Bring on summer! 🕶️

Our 4K students had a blast at Splash Down Day and enjoyed cooling off with some ice cream too! 🍦💦 It was the perfect way to celebrate and have fun on a hot day like today! We are soaking up every last minute of fun before summer break!
