Another great attendance celebration at Mossy Creek! Today we celebrated great attendance with Disney Day! Our students and staff showed off their Disney spirit, and we loved seeing everyone join in the fun!

A BIG congratulations to 1st Grade for having the “BOMB” attendance percentage this week! They earned a Bomb Pop Party to celebrate! Way to show up, 1st Grade!

Who will win next week? The grade level with the highest attendance percentage will earn a POPCORN PARTY on Friday!

And don’t forget—next Friday is Mismatch Day! Wear your craziest mismatched outfit and, most importantly, BE AT SCHOOL!

Get those WIGS ready, Mossy Creek! On Wednesday, September 23rd, we’re celebrating our students setting their WIGs—Wildly Important Goals!

To make goal setting a little more FUN, students and staff are invited to wear their favorite silly, colorful, or creative WIG to school!

Throughout the day, our leaders will be encouraged to talk about the goals they’ve set and what they’re doing to achieve them. Students will also receive an “Ask Me About My WIG!” sticker—so when they get home, be sure to ask them about their goal!

At Mossy Creek, we want our students to know that leaders set goals, make a plan, and keep working toward them!

CALLING ALL MOSSY CREEK ARTISTS!

We have a challenge for you, Turtles! We need a student-designed cover for our 2026–2027 Mossy Creek Yearbook!

Our schoolwide theme this year is OCEANS , and of course, we are proud to be a Leader in Me school! So put on your creative thinking caps and show us what happens when Oceans + Leadership + Mossy Creek come together!

We are so excited to welcome our Mossy Creek grandparents and special grand-friends to campus over the next few days! Grandparents please make sure to bring your picture ID with you when you check into the office over the next week to visit.

A quick reminder for those planning to purchase lunch in our cafeteria:

Guest lunch: $5.65. Please bring exact change whenever possible! Our cafeteria does not keep a large amount of change on hand, so having your money ready will help keep the lunch line moving smoothly. And don’t forget to stop by our Fall Book Fair while you’re here!

Miss. Guest's class has been working hard with their class jobs the past few weeks and were able to spend their classroom currency in their class store today! Two of their class jobs are accountants who get to pay students weekly and help figure out their rent. They love to lead the class store and they do a great job keeping everyone straight!
