Currently on display at the Arts & Heritage Center of North Augusta: Edgefield Pottery.
Explore the history and legacy of one of the regionβs most notable pottery traditions. Established in 1785, the Edgefield District became known for its pottery industry, with wares that were sought after throughout the Southeast. The term βEdgefield Potteryβ still reflects the work of potteries across the region, including Hamburg and North Augusta.
