A contemporary exhibition featuring emerging artists, new bodies of work, and creative voices from across the CSRA.

❤️ The 4th Annual Heart of Glass Art Glass Exhibit
Featuring beautiful glass artwork by local glass artists, including Stacy O’Sullivan and her students, along with works for sale and competition entries.

Both exhibits are open now through September 30, 2026.

🎉 Please Welcome AHCNA’s New Executive Director, Adeana Berry!

The Arts and Heritage Center of North Augusta is pleased to announce that Adeana Berry has accepted the position of Executive Director of AHCNA.

Adeana will begin serving full-time on Monday, September 14, 2026. During the remainder of September, she will work closely with our current Executive Director, Mary Anne Bigger, to ensure a smooth transition before Mary Anne’s retirement at the end of the month.

We are excited to welcome Adeana into this new role and look forward to the experience, energy, and community connections she will bring to AHCNA.

🀄 Ready to learn Mahjong?

The Arts & Heritage Center of North Augusta is offering two Beginning Mahjong Classes in September with local instructor Nannette Katz!

These beginner-friendly classes are a fun way to learn the basics, meet new people, and enjoy time around the Mahjong table.

🎨 Two new exhibits open next week at the Arts & Heritage Center of North Augusta!

Join us beginning Friday, September 4 for two exciting new exhibitions:

🖌️ Fresh Paint
A contemporary exhibition highlighting emerging artists, new bodies of work, and what’s next in the CSRA creative community across all artistic mediums.

❤️ The 4th Annual Heart of Glass Art Glass Exhibit
Featured on the 2nd floor, this exhibit celebrates the beauty, color, and craftsmanship of art glass. The show includes works for sale by local glass artists, competition entries, and pieces by local glass artist Stacy O’Sullivan and her students.

Both exhibits will be on display September 4-30, 2026.

🎨 Artist Call Reminder: Fresh Paint

Artists, drop-off for Fresh Paint is coming up next week!

The Arts & Heritage Center of North Augusta is inviting artists ages 18 and older to participate in Fresh Paint, a contemporary exhibition celebrating new work, emerging ideas, and creative voices from across the CSRA.

📦 Artwork Drop-Off:
Tuesday, September 1 and Wednesday, September 2
10 AM-4 PM

🖼️ Exhibit Dates: September 4-30, 2026
🎉 Artist Reception: Thursday, September 17, 5-8 PM
🎨 Maximum: 3 artworks per artist
💵 Exhibit Fee: $40

All artistic mediums are welcome, including painting, sculpture, photography, mixed media, digital art, fiber, fashion, jewelry, and more.

✨ Artist Spotlight: Sharon Burnside ✨

This week we’re featuring the colorful stained glass work of Sharon Burnside, available in the AHCNA Gift Shop.

Sharon has been creating stained glass for more than 30 years, using the copper foil technique to bring each piece together by hand. Her work includes cheerful birds, angels, flowers, butterflies, boats, crosses, and decorative hanging pieces that catch the light beautifully.

Inspired by her love of church windows, Sharon creates pieces that add a little shimmer, color, and handmade charm to any space. These make wonderful gifts, especially for someone who enjoys one-of-a-kind art for a window, porch, garden room, or special corner of the home.

Stop by the AHCNA Gift Shop to see Sharon Burnside’s stained glass work in person. The photos are lovely, but these pieces really sing when the light hits them. 🌞

🎨 Last week to see our August exhibition at the AHCNA!

If you haven’t had a chance to visit yet, this is the final week to explore works by The Artists Guild of Columbia County and Clay Artists of the Southeast.

Artwork is on display throughout both the Main Gallery and Balcony Gallery, featuring a wonderful variety of paintings and handcrafted clay pieces by talented regional artists.
