Explore the history and legacy of one of the region’s most notable pottery traditions. Established in 1785, the Edgefield District became known for its pottery industry, with wares that were sought after throughout the Southeast. The term “Edgefield Pottery” still reflects the work of potteries across the region, including Hamburg and North Augusta.
