Brooks School At Brooks School, we seek to provide the most meaningful educational experience our students will have in their lives.

Located 30 miles north of Boston, Brooks is an independent, coeducational, college preparatory boarding and day school for students in grades 9-12.

The Warhols are here! Brooks School's exhibition "Andy Warhol: Select Works from the Richard F. Holmes Collection" is up now through Nov. 20 in the Robert Lehman Art Center: https://bit.ly/WarholsatBrooks

Come visit and see the 20+ works — including several of the pop art icon's rarely displayed hand-colored lithographs, blotted-line drawings, artist books, Polaroid portraits of celebrities (Mick Jagger!) and masterpieces, from Jackie (1964) to Self Portrait (1986), that reveal how Warhol’s early commercial work evolved into one of modern art’s most recognizable styles.

❗️Iconic works by ‘60s pop artist Andy Warhol will be on display in the Brooks School Arts Department Robert Lehman Art Center gallery, Oct. 2 to Nov. 20.

🥫 The exhibition includes 20+ works on paper and sculpture, including hand-colored lithographs, blotted-line drawings and artist books.

⭐️ You’ll get a rare chance to see Warhol’s Polaroid portraits of celebrities like Mick Jagger, behind-the-scenes mock-ups created for Interview magazine and much more!

👉 Join us at the exhibition’s reception on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m.

Shouting out our shows featuring Roberto Lugo and James Prosek, Director of the Arts and Arts Department Chair Babs Wheelden is quoted as saying that recent exhibits have raised the level of exposure and relevance of the Robert Lehman Art Center to the highest level in years... “The mission is all about the visual arts and bringing artists to campus, but also bringing art for not only our students, but our community,’ Wheelden says. Her goal for the gallery is to continue to bring artists and exhibitions that are going to be meaningful and impactful to the local community, not just Brooks students.’”
