Beta Lambda

Beta Lambda The Beta Lambda Sorority of the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts was established October 31, 19 We are the oldest greek organization on campus.

We now have over hundreds of sisters since being founded in 1975 and have recently celebrated our 41st anniversary. Our colors are green and yellow. Our founding sisters wanted the opportunity to do something within their community and college and came together to form the Beta Lambda Sorority. The sisters of Beta Lambda, believe in promoting the interests of individual sisters, to provide service

s to the community, to ensure the future of Beta Lambda and its relationship with the college and community. Sisters foster the development of communication and problem-solving skills necessary to become successful contributing members of society. Sisters are among the most active on campus; each sister participates in MCLA's Annual Community Day of Service, Martin Luther Kind Jr. Day of Service, The Sam Gomez Race, The Pi Upsilon Pi Cystic Fibrosis 5K, and many more. The sorority's annual Breast Cancer Fundraisers have raised hundreds of dollars for Breast Cancer research and made donations to patients. Beta Lambda currently has sisters working on campus in the President's Office, Information Booth, Admissions, and Facilities.
