How does innovation impact inclusion? 💭

We had the chance to explore this question with Claire, our summer intern Josh’s Occupational Therapist. Claire has had a front-row seat to Josh’s journey, watching his creativity and determination turn challenges into opportunities. As an occupational therapist, she understands that no two people experience disability the same way, and that lived experience is a valuable part of the design process. 

Josh’s story is a powerful example of how using innovation for inclusion can turn ideas into meaningful impact 🌟

You’ve never seen solar energy do this before… 🌞🌻

Like a real flower, SmartFlower opens to greet the sun in the morning, follows it throughout the day, and closes up at night — all while soaking up as much solar energy as possible (Ryne's REALLY got a thing for solar energy!). We’re excited to have the SmartFlower blooming here at Fluxspace and to keep exploring creative ways to build a greener future.

Last week, we hosted leaders from education, workforce, and policy for the 2026 Southeastern PA Education and Workforce Convening. 📚 💼
The day was filled with meaningful conversations, collaboration, and shared ideas focused on expanding opportunities for students and strengthening pathways into STEM careers. Thank you to PA SEED for leading such an impactful day and to our incredible panel of speakers for sharing their insights from the field!

Last week we had the opportunity to host the UPenn GSE Center for School Study Council's Wisdom & Leadership Conference for Women Leaders in Education at Fluxspace Norristown! 💡
