Today we celebrate our final member of the Class of 2026. We are happy to join our CYO in this special way to honor our class. Today's 8th Grade Spotlight is on Giuliana M. Congratulations Giuliana!
Giuliana has attended Visitation BVM since Kindergarten. During this time, she’s made many friends, some of whom have become family! We are so very proud of everything G has accomplished during these past 9 years. Since 4th Grade, Giuliana has maintained Honors status while participating in a myriad of school activities and athletics. Giuliana began her CYO experience with P*e-Wee Soccer and Basketball, then JV Cheerleading and Basketball for a year. It was in 5th grade when G truly found her passion- volleyball. She was fortunate enough to be a part of CYO JV and Varsity Teams and was selected in 7th and 8th grade to participate in the
Archdiocese All-Star Games. G also received the Coach’s Award for Volleyball from Coach Iannacone. One of her proudest moments was when the Varsity team made it to the Championship Game this past fall. Giuli was also the recipient of The Office of Catholic
Education’s Discover Catholic Schools Week Essay Contest for Junior High Students. She earned the Honorable Mention Award out of all Archdiocesan Schools. Some other activities
Giuliana joined over the years were the Band Program, Girl Scouts, Catholic War Veterans Spelling Bee, Yearbook Committee, Choir, Science Explorers, Performing Arts Club, Youth Ministry, Live Nativity for Christmas Eve Mass as Mary, and has been given numerous Kindness Awards. Giuliana was also selected to be a part of the 2026 Visitation May Court. When not at school, Giuliana enjoys spending time with friends, traveling with family, and being with her dog, Rocky. Finally, Giuliana is very excited to wrap-up her time at Visitation BVM and begin a new chapter at Pope John Paul II High School . Congratulations to the Visitation Class of 2026!

We are happy to join our CYO in this special way to honor our class. Today's 8th Grade Spotlight is on Dante R. Congratulations, Dante!
Dante has been a student at Visitation since kindergarten. During his time here, he has enjoyed playing JV and Varsity football, basketball, and baseball. He has been an active member of the student council, mathletes, and performing arts. He also excelled in sp*ech, reaching the finals all three years. Dante has made many wonderful friends and memories throughout his time at Visitation. In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with friends and family, traveling, and playing sports.
While he will miss Visitation and his friends, Dante is looking forward to attending Pope John Paul II High School in the fall.

We are happy to join our CYO in this special way to honor our class. Today's 8th Grade Spotlight is on Scarlett H - Congratulations Scarlett!
Scarlett has been at Visitation BVM since Pre-K! Throughout the years, she participated in P*e Wee Basketball, Soccer, Cheer, Junior and Varsity Volleyball, Yearbook, Choir, and Performing Arts. Scarlett has continued to be a honor roll student and this year you can hear her on the loud speaker for morning announcements. Visitation BVM has become much more than a school — it has truly been a second home and family for Scarlett, filled with unforgettable memories and lifelong friendships.
Outside of school, Scarlett enjoys spending time shopping and hanging out with friends, loving on her baby sister, relaxing by the pool, and going to the beach. She will greatly miss Visitation and all of the wonderful teachers who helped shape her journey.
This fall, Scarlett is excited to begin a new chapter at Pope John Paul II High School !

We are happy to join our CYO in this special way to honor our class. Today's 8th Grade Spotlight is on Shane S. Congratulations Shane!
Shane joined Visitation BVM School in the First grade. He got his start as a CYO athlete playing P*e Wee Soccer. Shane went on to play CYO Baseball , Football and Basketball. Shane was a Visi Basketball All Star player during his eight grade year and over time has received several recognitions including a JV Spirit Award.
Whether in the classroom, on the school yard, on the field, or the court…Shane enjoys the time he gets to spend with his amazing CYO teammates and closest friends.
Shane is appreciative of the dedicated CYO coaching staff who have helped him develop into a competitive athlete. Joining the Visitation CYO High School teams is most likely in the future.
Shane will miss all the great coaches, teachers and the many other staff members at Visitation BVM who have cared for him, supported him, and by example, have taught him the Catholic Christian Values of the Visitation BVM School Mission.
Shane will be attending Archbishop John Carroll High School in the fall. Keep an eye on the Carroll Patriots, good things are coming!

We are happy to join our CYO in this special way to honor our class. Today’s 8th Grade Spotlight is on Zachary S. - Congratulations Zach!
Today’s 8th Grade Spotlight is on Zachary S. Congratulations Zach! Zach has attended Visitation since Kindergarten. He’s had many wonderful experiences and made great friends and memories during his time at Visi! His proudest achievements were competing in two Science Bees and being awarded a Neumann Scholarship. Zach participated in P*e Wee soccer and track, but his favorite sport is gymnastics. Outside of school, he started gymnastics and parkour classes at age 6 and has competed for the Upper Merion Dance and Gymnastics Center (UMDGC) gymnastics team for 5 years. Zach is grateful for all the amazing teachers who have guided him and for the lasting friendships he has made over the years. He will miss Visitation but is excited to start his next chapter in the fall at Pope John Paul II High School !

Joslynn has been at Visitation since 5th grade! She has enjoyed playing volleyball, soccer and she also cheered for Visitation! Joslynn has made so many wonderful memories at school. She enjoys hanging out with friends and playing sports! She will miss all of her friends, Visitation family and all of the teachers! Joslynn will be attending Norristown Area High School in the fall.

We are happy to join our CYO in this special way to honor our class. Today's 8th Grade Spotlight is on Emily G - Congratulations Emily!
Emily has been a Visitation BVM student since kindergarten. She left for 2 years but missed it so much that she returned to where she loved being.
Emily has enjoyed her time at VISI playing p*e wee soccer, basketball, volleyball, participating in yearbook, girl scouts, the performing arts and is an honor student while attending VISI. She was honored to represent Visitation in the All Star Volleyball game as an 8th grader. Outside of school, Emily loves hanging out with friends and family, loves shopping, and has been the leading scorer on her travel soccer team for the past 5 years running.
Emily has made the most amazing friendships and so many memories inside and out of the classroom that will last a lifetime.
We are so excited to see what the future holds for her at Pope John Paul II High School . Keep working hard! We are beyond proud of you Emily Marie.

We are happy to join our CYO in this special way to honor our class. Today’s 8th-grade spotlight is on Rylan F. - Congratulations, Rylan!
Rylan is truly blessed to have been educated, guided, and inspired by his teachers at Visitation since Pre-K. Over the years, his personal transformation has been phenomenal. Motivated by the community, he has developed a strong sense of responsibility, strengthened his academic pursuits, excelled in extracurricular activities, and deepened his spirituality. Academically, he is a consistent honor student who takes pride in representing the school at the Archdiocesan Religion Bee, the CWV Spelling Bee, and the Mathletes. He also feels humbled and honored to be a recipient of the Kindness Award, the St. Bernadette Award, and the Neumann Scholarship. Rylan’s passion for soccer and track has instilled in him strong discipline and sportsmanship. As a member of this year’s varsity soccer team, he made the All-Star game and, as a co-captain, led the team to a well-deserved quarterfinal finish. He also represented Visitation at the Penn Relays for several years. Outside of school, he has been an altar server at Visitation Parish since fifth grade and is a member of Youth for Christ. In his spare time, he loves to travel, explore new cuisines, and connect with friends through online gaming.
Equipped with the values and knowledge he acquired from Visitation, Rylan feels very confident about beginning his new journey at Pope John Paul II High School this fall. He will certainly miss his classmates and teachers at Visitation, as well as Miss Jenn’s Taco Days. We are extremely proud of Rylan’s achievements and can’t wait to see what the future holds for him.

We are happy to join our CYO in this special way to honor our class. Today's 8th Grade Spotlight is on Brayden B -Congratulations Brayden!
Brayden has attended Visitation since Kindergarten. He has learned valuable lessons, such as faith, hope, courage, and dedication. He has participated in many activities. He started his sports journey by participating in Visitation CYO P*e Wee soccer, track and basketball, which led to JV and Varsity soccer & baseball. These sports at Visitation have helped develop his physical skills, make the most amazing friends, have fun, learn teamwork, and improve his self-esteem.
Brayden has participated in many other activities as well. He is a member of the Youth Ministry, an altar server, was part of the first LEGO league team, participated in the CYO sp*ech program for 3 years, and performed with the Visi Performing Arts club, where this year he will portray Donkey in their upcoming Shrek Jr show. He was also a member of the 5 minute Fridays crew. He has been asked to draw countless posters for Philly Sports teams that can be seen throughout the school.
Outside of Visitation, Brayden enjoys drawing, creating video edits, playing baseball, going to sporting events, hanging out with his friends and family, going on family vacations and visiting different MLB ballparks.
Brayden has absolutely enjoyed his time at Visitation. He will miss the teachers and administrators that helped guide him on his path in life, he will miss all of the friends that he’s made along the way, luckily many of them are joining him in high school.
Brayden is so excited to continue his Catholic education and participation in athletics in the sports he loves at Pope John Paul II High School in September.
We love you so much Brayden and we are so proud of you and everything that you have accomplished. May God continue to bless you on your next adventure.
