Preschool Teacher / Teachers Assistant

General Qualifications: This person must have a warm and friendly personality, be sensitive to the feelings and needs of others, be able to relate well to children, and be willing to fulfill responsibilities in accordance with Adventures in Better Childcare’s educational philosophy. A child caregiver is responsible for reporting any concerns to the Director(s).
 

Qualifications
• Be at least l8 years of age
• Meet the qualifications of one of the following:
◻ High school diploma and 30 credit hours in education
◻ High school diploma, 15 credit hours in education and/ or 1 year of experience with children in a childcare setting
◻ High school diploma, GED, and two years of experience working with children
If
• Able to pass PA State Background, FBI, and Child Abuse Clearancesm
• Must complete O.C.D.E.L Health and Safety Training’s knn
• Must complete PA Mandated Reporting Training
• Must complete at least 12 hours of continuing education trainings per year
