I am at a place I thought would take forever. My last shoulder surgery is done. The pain and healing is motivational. My faith and His kingdom agenda represent a willingness to be molded in ways that honor our Lord. I am deep into my final recovery, rehabilitation, and physical therapy which will take 3-4 months. Finding my kitchen legs, building a new team and developing a place for them means everything.
I can see what God is cooking, and it smells good. Returning to sharing all things food related feels so damn good. This may be my best Labor Day weekend ever, and I hope is great for you too.
I am a living miracle. After being saved by God from a near death experience I can only weep with joy as I am blessed to serve my children and the kitchen in the best ways I can. I am the people's chef feeding everybody in 2025 and I can't wait to share with you too.
Stay tuned and I look forward to bringing bbq & soul food to you in new ways. Making new friends...one plate at a time😋

The comeback is in the works! I may not be able to work or return to business operations yet, but I will always be an avid servant/leader when it comes to education and supporting the hospitality arts.
