Hi everyone! My name is Paige Freeman and I am one of the Registered Behavior Technicians for Anderson County Schools! I am so excited to be a part of Norris Elementary for the 26/27 school year supporting students and staff!
I am a wife and mom to 3 amazing kiddos! My husband and I have 3 cattle farms and lots of animals that keep us busy in our free time!
I cannot wait to get this school year started!

Hi! My name is Ellen DeVoe and I am delighted to be working in the Front Office with the Amazing Ms. Swisher! You’ll see my smiling face on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

I have the most fun and laugh the hardest with my husband and our son that’s starting 1st grade. I am very grateful to be a part of NES and can’t wait to meet all of our families!

THIS THURSDAY is Open House and New Parent Orientation!

We can’t wait to see you there!

Mark your calendars for Thursday, July 30th. We will hold a new parent orientation for all parents/students who are new to Norris Elementary. It will be held from 5:30 to 6:00 in our school cafeteria. Afterwards, all students and parents are invited to come meet the teachers from 6:00 until 7:00. Students may also drop off supplies that evening.

Registration for students new to the Norris community will be the morning of July 30th from 9-12.

We are looking forward to seeing familiar faces and new ones on July 30th. The 2026-2027 school year is going to be OWL-SOME!

Hi everyone! My name is Annie Bryant, and I am so excited to be joining the Norris Elementary School family this year as a student teacher with Ms. Sharp’s Kindergarten class! I am a senior at the University of Tennessee studying Elementary Education, and I can’t wait to learn, grow, and make lots of special memories this year.

When I’m not at school, I love going for walks, sewing, spending time with my friends, and working part-time at a bridal dress shop. I’m so thankful for this opportunity and can’t wait to meet all of the wonderful students and families. Here’s to a great school year!

Hi! My name is Marissa Nelson, and I am so excited to be working with Mrs. White in second-grade math this year! I am currently a senior at the University of Tennessee where I am studying Elementary Education. I have always had a passion for working with children, and I can’t wait to learn and grow alongside the students this year. In my free time, I love spending time with my favorite people, reading a good book, and going on beach trips. I am so excited to become apart of the NES family and can’t wait to see what this new chapter has in store!

Hi, everyone! My name is Katie Hurt, and I am so excited to be interning in third grade with Mrs. Durbin (previously Ms. Abbott) this year! I am from Cedarburg, WI, and I am a current senior at UT. In my free time I enjoy going for walks, spending time with friends and family, needlepointing and traveling. I am beyond excited for the year ahead!

Hi everyone! My name is Sadie Moles and I am so excited to be joining Mrs. Haun's class this year! As someone who grew up in Gibbs, it is especially meaningful to be working in a community that feels like home. Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my dogs, helping on my parents' farm, concerts, and hanging out with friends. I know this year will be filled with lots of learning, growth, and fun. I can't wait to get to know each of you and be a part of your child's educational journey!
