University of Oklahoma Arabic Flagship Program Students take language and content-based courses, take part in on-campus extracurricular activities, and placed in language partnerships with native speakers.

The University of Oklahoma Arabic Flagship Program is a merit-based undergraduate program designed for learners of Arabic who seek to achieve superior language proficiency while pursuing degrees in the academic majors of their choice. The program offers an innovative five-year curriculum in Arabic language and culture designed to produce graduates with dual strengths in Arabic language proficiency

and their chosen career fields. A unique housing option, the Arabic House, is available to students to give a more immersive living experience. Tutoring and other academic resources are provided to Flagship scholars, and students are expected to study abroad in their fifth year. Flagship scholars are eligible to apply for merit-based scholarships to support their study abroad opportunities.
