AIChE OU Chapter

Hello all! We hope that the first week of class has gone well. We want to welcome all of the new members and to remind you all in order to best stay updated with what the organization is doing please request to join the OrgSync page. This will be our primary means of communication with all of you. We have some great events planned and coming up soon so stay tuned!

Today is the day! Don't forget AIChE will be holding a fundraising event at Bison Witches, on Main Street. The fundraiser starts at 10:30 AM and ends at 9:00 PM. Make sure that you say you are with AIChE when you order!

AIChE is having officer elections on Thursday, April 20th! They will be held in the EPF, Room 200 at 5:00 PM. All members are able to run for positions, so be sure to come if you'd like to be an officer for the 2017-2018 school year! Free pizza will be served.

Tickets for AIChE's annual banquet are also on sale in Madena's office. They are $15 for 1 or $20 for 2. Be sure to buy yours soon!

T-Shirts will be passed out tomorrow, Friday the 14th, on the second floor of the EPF from 12 PM to 4 PM. If you payed annual dues, please come by and pick yours up!

Come to AIChE's annual Buffalo Wild Wings night at the Moore location! Free wings will be provided for dues paying members!

The address is 2601 South Service Rd. Moore, OK 73160, and the event starts at 6 PM this Thursday, April 13th.

Come to "A Senior's Guide to Surviving Chemical Engineering" this Wednesday, March 29th, to get advice and hear experiences from a panel of graduating seniors!

This event starts at 6 PM and will be in Felgar Hall, Room 304!

Come by this Wednesday for free prizes, free food, and hear about what it's like to be a chemical engineer in a refinery!

Whether it's hosting companies to come talk at OU, taking a lucky group of students to AIChE's national conference in San Fransisco, or simply having a cookout here in Norman, there's always plenty to do with OU's chapter of AIChE!

Come to AIChE's general meeting on Tuesday, November 29th at 5:30 PM to discuss upcoming events and learn about new ways to get involved!

You can also participate in a gift exchange at this meeting! If you would like to join the exchange, please bring a wrapped gift under $5. There will be free Panda Express and you can decorate cookies, as well.

The meeting will be held in EPF, Room 200. Hope to see you there!

Sign up to help run the Egg Drop event at the Gallogly College of Engineering Open House on Friday, October 28th! You will have the opportunity to work with high school students from around Oklahoma, and provide feedback on their egg drop containers!

Come help build the engineering homecoming float tomorrow night, October 18th, at 6 PM in the concrete canoe bay of the EPF! Free food will be provided!

We are starting to take applications for our sophomore representative. If you are interested in getting more involved in AIChE and earn leadership experience, this is the perfect roll for you. As a sophomore representative your duties will include making announcements about the upcoming AIChE events in fundamentals and computing classes, attending executive meetings and assisting in a variety of other tasks depending on what's needed.
