The OU Civic Orchestra is a joint venture between the School of Music and the College of Continuing Education that serves the entire community. The Civic rehearses in both the fall and spring semesters and presents one concert during each semester. Rehearsals are on Tuesday evenings in the Catlett Music Center from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m.
Our Fall Concert is next Friday! (Nov 20th, 8pm!)

Hope everyone has had a wonderful snowed-in weekend! Coming Tuesday, we will be hosting another meet-the-orchestra session! Program will include pieces by Brahms, Bizet, Dvořák! Besides featuring the wonderful musicians of the orchestra, you will get to hear the Wind Quintet and String Quartet. To top the evening, we have a special guest, Nicole Robertson Van Every, who will sing with us "Song to the Moon" from Rusalka.
Did we mention that there will be cookies and hot chocolate too? ;)
