The heartbeat of Chi Alpha is students reaching students. One of Tulsa Chi Alpha's student leaders prayed all summer that God would use him to help students who didn't feel like they fit in find Jesus through the Tulsa Chi Alpha community. God answered that prayer when he got to invite a classmate to play board games with some other Chi Alpha students. The game night led to more events and eventually a Bible study! God's moving on our campuses through small obedient acts of hospitality like the one from this student leader.

Continue to pray for all of Tulsa Chi Alpha's student leaders as they seek to welcome students from all campuses in Tulsa!

Here are 2 Tulsa Chi Alpha students running an outreach table. They do consistent outreaches on TU's campus as well as TCC Metro, TCC Southeast, and NSU Broken Arrow with the goal of inviting students into their lives and sharing the love of Jesus.

When DuWayne and Cara Lee transitioned into being directors at Southwestern Oklahoma State University this summer, they got right to work remodeling the Chi Alpha House praying it would be a place where students would feel welcome. With some help, they tore down a wall to make the Chi Alpha House more open and inviting. On the interior, the goal was to have a warm, cafe vibe; and with a donation from a local restaurant they got booths and built a table, which has become the students' favorite part of the house.

In these first two weeks of the semester, they've met many students on campus, but more importantly, the students have said Chi Alpha is the place where they feel at home.

They ask for prayers for favor with the campus, wisdom and guidance as they pour into the students, and for God to raise up student leaders who want to reach their classmates.

The beginning of the semester is so important for Chi Alpha, as new students grace our campuses for the first time. Chi Alpha at NSU put in the effort to make every event count! It started with Move in Day on Monday by helping students carry their things up and into their dorms. Tuesday quick friends were made at Speed Friending, and on Wednesday NSU Chi Alpha hosted a 3v3 soccer tournament. Thursday NSU Chi Alpha hosted an outdoor night of worship for the campus, and on Friday the students got creative with tie-dye. Saturday was the grand finale with Slip and Slide Kickball. And the response has been great, not just in numbers, but in seeing God move in the students' lives on the Tahlequah campus!
