Hey Jefferson families! We are in our 4th week of the Jeffy Challenge! We have two more envelope collections (Tuesday 5/3 and 5/10). This fundraiser allows us to provide things for the students, school, and teachers that our district cannot, with recent purchases that include music instruments, PE equipment, outdoor classroom overhaul, and so much more!

This cannot happen without the help of our wonderful parents and community! Every dollar helps and the goal this year is $30,000! So, encourage your kids to talk to their friends, family, and neighbors! They can get as creative as they want, so don’t be surprised if they want to sell jewelry, baked goods, lemonade, etc. because having fun and supporting their school is what it’s all about!

Donations can be made via cash, check or VENMO (use the attached QR code or in the app).

Help spoil our teachers during teacher appreciate next week!❤️

Date has not been determined for the April PTA meeting. Circumstances beyond our control have made this challenging. Rest assured, when details are available we will send them via email, seesaw and Facebook.

Also, if you’re interested in serving on the PTA board next year, OR simply want to be more involved, please attend! As always, everyone is welcome to participate in any capacity they would like!

IMPORTANT UPDATE, 4-12-22:

Due to the threat of severe weather, and out of an abundance of caution, the PTA meeting set for tonight, will be rescheduled to next week. Please watch for details pertaining to the date and time. We apologize for any inconvenience, but safety is our top priority.

Again, the PTA meeting is being rescheduled.

The University of Oklahoma football coaches will show their support with a Praise Parade of their own this Sat. April 11 at 3 p.m. The caravan will start at Norman Regional Hospital (Porter campus) and work its way to the HealthPlex. The coaches and their families want to extend their gratitude for all the hard work being done by our healers. Please join us to receive their well wishes, but remember to stay six feet apart.
