CEIGR is pleased to share an exciting update from the Partnerships for Indigenous-led ELSI Research (PIER) team:

The PIER Community Scholars Program is a program to support and mentor individuals interested in ethical, community-driven Tribal health research. Our first call for applications generated a response and interest in the program that exceeded our expectations. It is clear from all of the amazing applicants that the future of Tribal health research is very bright!

We are pleased to announce the inaugural cohort of PIER Community Scholars for 2026-2028.

Wondering who should apply? Individuals interested in Tribal health research, all career stages (academic or not), AI/AN and non-Native, with no experience in research necessary.

The Community Scholars program approaches community-based research by first being in community with one another. All lived experiences and ways of knowing are welcome!
