The Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education is excited to share that we have partnered with the Oklahoma State Department of Education on Project SMART: Strategies for Managing And Responding to Tough behaviors.

We will be offering one-day trainings across the state (McAlester, July 20; Norman, July 22; Woodward, July 24) on managing difficult student behavior and implementing positive behavioral interventions. These sessions are open to all school personnel.

Where Practice Meets Leadership: OU and CCOSA Introduce Collaborative Ed.D. The Collaborative Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Educational Leadership offers emerging leaders across Oklahoma’s PK–12 public education system a doctoral experience designed to be as relevant as it is rigorous.

Alumni Spotlight ⭐

Faith Liston ('08) graduated with distinction from the Jeannine Rainbolt College of Education as a first-generation college student with a B.S. in Secondary English Education. She is in her 17th year in the classroom, teaching english at Charles Page High School. Faith was recently named the 2025-26 Sand Springs Public School District Teacher of the Year!
