Norman School for Strings

Music Lessons: Violin, Viola, Cello. Ages 4 and up. We also offer traditional music lessons in violin, viola, or cello.

Our Suzuki Program is taught by Suzuki Association trained instructors and is available for students age 4 and up. Weekly private lessons, weekly group classes, and instruction for parents of beginning students are all included in the tuition. This is a great option for older beginners, or for students who have already started study at school or somewhere else, but want to improve on their skills. We also love teaching adult students of all levels, including beginner.

Congratulations to all of our our students who participated in the OKCPHIL Young Musician Competition this spring! Austin Braun and Jordan Fletcher were semi-finalists, Laura Pollack won Second Place in the Senior Upper Strings division, and Sophia Stoops won First Place in the Junior Lower Strings division, and Third Place in the Overall! You can hear some of them performing at the Symphony Show House this week. It runs through Sun., May 21 at 6713 NW Grand Blvd. in Nichols Hills.
