“Going through recruitment, I was so nervous and unsure of what to expect. But the moment I walked into the Chi Omega house, I knew I was home. I instantly fell in love with the girls and the atmosphere. Everyone was so kind and genuine. I truly felt seen and appreciated in every conversation I had. I loved the philanthropy and values that Chi Omega stands for. Not only did I love the girls inside the house but also the girls who I met along the way on the Chi Omega lawn. It felt so special to connect with girls who strive to hold the same values I strive for.
Running home to 820 Chautauqua is a moment I’ll never forget. I was surrounded by so many amazing girls and I knew I had chosen wisely. Since then, I’ve formed the most incredible friendships, and I’m so grateful to call these girls my lifelong sisters.
As freshman year comes to an end, it feels bittersweet. However, I’ve never been more excited for what’s ahead, especially getting to live with 100 of these amazing girls! I’ve met so many truly special people in this house, and I can’t wait to keep growing these friendships.

April 5, 1895, marks the beginning of our special sisterhood we proudly call Chi Omega☠️❤️

What began with five visionary founders quickly grew into a strong community rooted in friendship, personal integrity, service to others, academic excellence, community involvement, and personal development. Dr. Charles Richardson, Jean Vincenheller, Jobelle Holcombe, Christina May Boles, and Alice Cary Simonds established our rituals, symbolism, and secrecy that has grown into a bond that extends far beyond letters.

Celebrating 131 years of Chi Omega and everything it stands for. We are so grateful to be part of something so meaningful. We love you, Chi Omega! Happy Founders Day!! 💛🦉
