Join Pick and Hammer at Sarkeys Energy Center THIS WEDNESDAY, September 24th from 9 AM to 4 PM for our first mineral sale and silent auction of the semester! The rocks you see above are a few of the items available during our silent auction and just a fraction of everything you can find at our table in the West Atrium (place with couches on the first floor) of SEC.

Buy-It-Now items will be available the entire duration of the sale and Silent Auction winners will be contacted if they win a bid, so if you’ve got class during our ending time, no worries!

Pick and Hammer members may also volunteer to help us out at the table, so please sign up on our form if you’re interested. We hope to see you there!

Meet us at the Sarkeys Energy Center faculty lot (the one beside Trout Ave, not S Jenkins Ave) by 7:00 AM sharp! There we’ll coordinate carpooling between people.

We plan on arriving back in Norman by 6-8 PM, but given it is a 6 hour round trip, we could arrive sooner or later. We’d recommend not joining if you have afternoon or evening plans!

Be sure to bring a full water bottle, snacks/lunch, hand shovels/picks, and sun protection such as sunscreen, a hat, and sunglasses! There may be blowing dust. We hope you can join us to find selenite crystals!

Looking for something to do Wednesday night? Join us in our first General Meeting of the new semester! We’ll be talking about upcoming events and ask what our members would like to see from us! We’ll be on the 14th floor of Sarkey’s from 5 to 7 PM in room 1446, on the opposite side of the hall from the elevators. We hope to see you there!

Join us on a day trip to Tahlequah for a 9 mile float down the Illinois River! We’ll be leaving early Monday morning and arriving back in the evening, so please be aware we’ll be gone all day! Meet us at the SEC faculty lot in time to make sure you can carpool with us. This event has limited seats, so please submit your form by noon Sunday! Join us this Wednesday, 4/23, at 5 PM in SEC P111 for our last general meeting of the semester and officer elections for the upcoming academic year! We’ll also discuss preliminary plans for the following semester. If you’re interested in applying for an officer position, you can find the link to the submission form on our linktree. Please keep in mind that you must be a previously participating member of the club to run. We hope to see you there!

Catch us at Sarkeys Energy Center THIS WEDNESDAY (April 16) for our LAST mineral sale and auction of the semester! We’ll be in the West Atrium on the very first floor from 9 AM to 4 PM like usual! We’ve got a ton of awesome items for auction this time, including rhodochrosite, desert roses, fossils, labradorite, and more. We hope to see you there!

Join Pick and Hammer this Saturday, April 19th, for a trip to Salt Plains Wildlife Refuge in Jet! We’ve got buckets and shovels, all we need is you! RSVP on our engage and send us a signed liability waiver (found in our bio!) so we’ve got a proper headcount! See you then!
