Wrapping up the third week of school.

Had a bit of a rough start weather-wise (nothing a tough Sooner can’t handle)- and OU is now two weeks out from the first big round of exams.

Jinx, the Tutor”PUG,” wanted to check in and make sure you’re all set up for success.

Have you…

* Completely read your syllabus?

* Found your personal, designated, distraction-free study area? (Mine used to be the 4th floor stacks at the Biz…total ghost town up there in the Zoology journals 🤣😂)

* Introduced yourself to your instructor and asked a question or two?

* Kept your homework assignments current?

* Starting reviewing material?

* Assembled any review materials from your instructor?

* Laid out a timeline to start reviewing the material for each class a little bit every day between now and the exam?

Starting to prep for the first round of midterms NOW saves a LOT of stress during the 5th and 6th weeks.

Preparing early and often can absolutely obliterate test anxiety.

TutorPUG is SO grateful to the City of Norman for being selected (it was a blind process) to receive a small Covid relief grant. We thought some flowers and red velvet cupcakes might make their day - thank you, City of Norman, OK - City Government!
