Blessed Stanley Rother Hispanic Cultural Institute

Our classes are small, with some outstanding people and excellent volunteers, all of whom are educators.

On October 7, we were treated to a presentation about music in the Spanish-speaking world. Then we had a wonderful mini-concert from Mrs. Elizabeth Mieres Stowe (Art Director for the Institute) and Ms. Marisol Faro (Talented musician).

Blessed Stanley Rother Hispanic Cultural Institute Registration - Fall 2025 Please, bring your registration fee ($50 - cash or check made out to: St. Joseph's Catholic Church) on opening night.

The Blessed Stanley Rother Hispanic Cultural Institute of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church will have the Opening Night for the Fall Semester on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at 7:00 PM in the Metter Room of the Parish Center (421 East Acres Street). Everyone is invited. Being a member of the Institute is not necessary to attend this first night. We invite you to participate in the Spanish Language and Cultural Studies classes we will be offering on Tuesdays from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM.

You may register on Opening Night or online at our page or at https://bit.ly/BSRHCI-Fall2025. Enrollment will continue until September 30, 2025. The tuition fee is $50 per Semester. If you register online, you may pay on opening night. If you do not register online, please come at 6:30 PM to register. Bring your check for $50 made to St. Joseph Catholic Church on September 23, 2025. If you have previously registered, there should be no need for you to do so again. Donations to the Institute are accepted.

I hope you are well and staying warm. Due to the weather forecasts coming in about Tuesday, February 18, especially with snow, ice, and dangerous wind chill, the Blessed Stanley Rother Hispanic Cultural Institute will cancel classes this week for everyone's safety. God willing, we will return next week, February 25. In the meantime, watch some Spanish YouTube videos, listen to Spanish music, and read some Spanish news online. Stay warm and stay safe.

I'm sorry to inform you that we will not be having classes tomorrow night, February 4, due to increased flu in Oklahoma, including myself. Let's use the time to review material, watch some videos on YouTube, and keep ourselves healthy. God willing, we hope to see you next class on February 11th.
