Please note our upcoming office schedule:

The Cleveland County OSU Extension Office will close early at 3:00 P.M. on Friday, September 4th, to help reduce traffic congestion for the OU game.

We will also be closed on Monday, September 7th, in observance of Labor Day.

Football season is here, and food safety should be part of every tailgate plan. 🏈

Christi Evans, OSU Extension food safety specialist, shares a few reminders before heading to the game:
• Keep hot foods at 140 F or above and cold foods at 40 F or below.
• Use a food thermometer to ensure meats reach a safe internal temperature.
• Return food to the cooler within two hours, or within one hour when temperatures are above 90 F.
• Bring soap, clean water, paper towels and sanitizing wipes to create a handwashing station.
