Online Master of Accountancy

Recognizing the need for accounting professionals to complete 150 hours (with 30 credit hours in graduate accounting) to sit for the CPA exam, the Price College of Business at the University of Oklahoma now offers its Master of Accountancy in an online format. This is the same program currently delivered on campus and producing an 74% pass rate on the CPA exam for first time test takers. Only now, the program is easily accessible anywhere in the world.

OU’s Online Master of Accounting (MAcc) program offers theoretical knowledge and practical skills needed to prepare students for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensure examination and provides advanced accounting support to businesses and individuals. Offered through the John T. Steed School of Accounting, which is AACSB-accredited, the Online Master of Accountancy program prepares students for advanced accounting roles and CPA certification in less than two years.

In fact, the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy reports a 74% average pass rate on the CPA exam for first time test takers over the past 10 years. The success rates on the CPA exam have consistently ranked among the highest in the Big 12 and the nation.
