We are pleased to welcome Dr. Ezenwa to the SCBME family.

Staff Week was filled with fun and exciting adventures. The Amazing Race was one of the most fun events of the week. Your SCBME (and Courtney from CS) staff worked hard solving clues and running through campus (you might have seen us!). This final day was a tight race, but we finished in second place! 🥳 Thank you OU Staff Senate for making this entire week possible!

Sooner Saturday was filled with people and a cold breeze. We are thankful for Dr. Grady and Chevron Phillips Mentor Ethan Klein for representing SCBME giving awesome elevator pitches while handing out liquid nitrogen flowers!

The Great Egg Estimation Event is now over. Thank you to all who participated! We had undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty, staff, visitors and by-passers make their best educated guess on the # of eggs in our puzzle. And the winner with a guess of 675 is…. Ben Strabala! Congratulations! Total egg count: 672.

Last week we had a great time meeting more than 400 high school students at the OU + OSU Engineering and Science night! Our team - made up of staff, faculty, and current OU engineering students - spent the evening answering questions, sharing experiences, and talking with students interested in engineering. We had some great conversations and loved getting to connect with so many future engineers!
