Does your child need an energy boost at school? Are they losing focus during exams? Try these quick energy boosting tricks!
Exercise: 20 seconds is enough
- Stack some books and do a quick step aerobic workout
- Jump up and down
- Do some squats
- Stretch
- Using two desks do some arm lifts
- Use your backpack like weights and lift it several times
- While sitting, use your arms to lift yourself up and down
Laugh
Eat a small healthy snack (complex carbs are good)
Eat some chocolate
Chew some gum
Drink water
Listen to some music (and sign along)
Look at something red
Go outside (or at least look outside)
Socialize
Smell something fragrant
Close your eyes for a couple minutes
