🚨 Don't Wait – Child Care Assistance Is Changing! 🚨
Big changes are coming to Oklahoma's child care assistance program.

Effective October 1, 2026, the state will lower income eligibility from 85% to 55% of the State Median Income (SMI). Many families who currently qualify may no longer be eligible after this change.

If you've been putting off applying for assistance, this is the perfect time to find out if your family qualifies. Families can apply at https://www.okdhslive.org

With the temperatures skyrocketing, we just want to encourage you to be extra mindful about what you're leaving inside your vehicle, especially hand sanitizer bottles and other liquids.

Items like these can get extremely hot sitting in the sun. In some cases, they can expand, burst, and cause burns or damage when opened or handled.

Please take a quick look through your vehicle and move anything that could become dangerous in this heat. We don't want something preventable to happen to any of you or your families.

Stay safe, stay cool, and take care of yourselves.
