What a great day to host a booth at the Women in Science and Engineering STEM Outreach event today at the OKC Science Museum!

We had fun teaching middle and high schoolers from all over Oklahoma about biomedical engineering and how to make hydrogel noses out of alginate.

Thank you Alexis Woodward for all your help today, it could not have been done without you. Additional thanks to Emily Thomas and the BMES student chapter for their help in preparing all the materials!

Hello all! Happy Wednesday! This Friday we will be attending the art walk downtown as a group. We will meet at BIG brewing company downtown at 6PM followed by the art walk! Hope to see you all there!

2nd Friday Norman Art Walk is made possible by the Norman Arts Council and a collection of sponsors, including Republic Bank & Trust, Fowler Automotive, The City of Norman, Oklahoma Arts Council, National Endowment for the Arts and Kirkpatrick Foundation.

Gallogly Hall hard hat tour! It was fun for the SBME graduate students and staff to see our new building going up.

Thanks to everyone who attended the 1st Annual BESA Symposium last Friday!

Royce Heck from 5280 Prosthetics/Adaptec Prosthetics held a great keynote session, and all the poster presentations by the SBME graduate and undergraduate students were well done.

Overall, it was a great success and we are excited to continue this annual event! See you all next year!
