The students in Sidney Ellington's Nonprofit Leadership class at were extremely fortunate on Tuesday when Dr. Larry Barton spoke on Organizational Security, Risk Management, and Crisis Response.
As a recognized expert in the field, Dr. Barton's eye-opening discussion points stressed the importance of organizational leaders taking a proactive versus reactive stance. As the post-COVID world continues to be uncertain and as mental health issues among individuals become more prominent, it is paramount that nonprofits do all they can to prepare for the unexpected.
Many thanks, Dr. Larry Barton. OU is fortunate to have your steadfast willingness to support our students by bringing your many years of experience and security expertise to our classroom.
