Super proud to see the beginning of OUs third jazz ensemble! This group is led and taught by music education students in the OU School of Music. The founder and exec director is Mackenzie Caddell. Next year they will become part of the OU Jazz Program still being student led.

🎷 Some of our jazz students are recording as part of a VR/XR research project aimed at understanding and addressing performance anxiety associated with jazz improvisation. This initiative combines innovative technology with music education to enhance performance skills and support student growth. /XRResearch
