Recognized as one of the nation’s premier forums for piano pedagogy, the biennial MTNA GP3 Forum brings together leading researchers, collegiate faculty, and master teachers to advance the field through scholarship, innovation, and professional collaboration. This presentation reflects our institution’s continued commitment to excellence in piano pedagogy, research, and music education.

A little music. A little movement. A lot of learning.

Today our young musicians listened, clapped, sang solfège, played piano, and even wrote music on the board. One student was at the piano while others practiced note reading together. Everyone had a role.

Music class is not just about playing an instrument. It’s about building confident listeners, creative thinkers, and joyful learners.

That’s another day at Shabani School of Music. 🎹🎶
