Today our success coaches helped students “ work smarter, not harder” with time hacks and activities. We helped students examine their schedules and priorities and see what they could improve! It was a great workshop! Thanks to all who came out and for HCC Student Engagement for the collaboration!

Join your success coaches tomorrow Wednesday September 16 from 12-2 for our Work Smarter Not Harder Event:Overwhelmed to Organized: Time Hacks for Student Success. We will have hands on activities, games and crafts to help you learn how to manage your time! Oh and did we mention, there will be yummy snacks!!

We only have two weeks to go in the summer semester ! These success coaches have 6 tips to finish your summer semester STRONG 💪!
1. Go to Canvas and check your grades.
2. See a success coach!
3. Look to see if you have any missing assignments.
4. See a success coach!
5. Talk to your teacher about making up assignments if possible!
6. See a success coach!
Okay so we may be a bit biased but we really do think that a success coach will help you be successful! Come see us!!

Sometimes the best conversations don’t happen in an office—they happen on a walk.

Today our Success Coaches took a lap around the pond, reconnecting, brainstorming, and reminding ourselves that supporting students starts with taking care of our own team too. 💙 Every step helps us show up ready to help our students take theirs.

The students aren’t the only ones ready for summer! ☀️ Your student success team celebrated the end of an amazing semester with some sunshine, laughter and a group lunch date! We are excited to celebrate with all of our students on Friday night! Job well done team!

Meet Andrew! He’s a student who was able to be successful this semester. He is sharing his secrets to success! 1. Meeting with his success coach regularly. 2. Connecting with Teachers. 3. making a study plan 4. Getting his family involved. Overall he realized that you don’t have to do college alone and we agree!!!
