May 1 is May Day. Mark the return of spring by bringing in branches of forsythia,lilacs,or other flowering shrubs from your region.
In Hawaii May 1 is celebrated as Lei Day (Leis are garlands or wreaths that are often made with native Hawaiian flowers and leaves.💐🌷🌹🥀🌺🌸🌼🌻

Hello Everyone!! With February in its last week, the kiddies are learning still about being kind. It takes very little time for someone too say a mean comment or call someone else a name when they’re behind safety of their keyboard and don’t have too face the person that they’re talking to. The kiddies are learning that it takes a bigger person too say sorry and apologize for being mean or having bad behavior. Studies show that when we’re being mean or bullied it’s because someone has bullied them or have been mean too them.

What we know about bullying today:

28% of students have experienced bullying personally

71% of students have witnessed bullying directly

Only 20%-30% of students notify adults about bullying

Over 50% of parents are concerned about their child being bullied..

SMART: Where we learn too share with care
ALERT: Where we learn not to fall for fake
STRONG: Where we learn how too secure our digital stuff
KIND: Where we learn that’s it’s cool to be kind
BRAVE: Where we learn that when in doubt, we talk it out.

Happy February! Asked the kiddies what they’re favorite month is and surprisingly they all said February! We’re learning about Loving Others, giving, helping and apologizing. We’ll be making valentines cards and mailing them too their loved ones. They’re also learning Numbers 11,12 Letters V,P and learning all about the Shape heart. The kiddies also will be learning about the Presidents George Washington and Abraham Lincoln.
