⛳️Our Epiphany boys and girls golf teams have had a tee-rific season so far! Seventh grader Lily N. finished in first place at both the Intercity competition and in a friendly competition last night against Corpus Christi!

Our boys team comprised of Ryan B., Madden B., Jack W., and Nolan D. finished in second place at the Intercity tournament. Seventh grader Ryan B. also finished in first place in last night’s competition!

Way to go Knights! We can’t wait to see you drive up more success this season! 🤩

Let’s pray for Fr. Nathan!

Fr. Nathan's open-heart surgery is this Wednesday, August 26th. He has asked for our prayers especially through the Sacred Heart of Jesus: "I appreciate your prayers for the operation itself, and also for patience during the daunting recovery time —for me, the priests, and my family."

We will pray a novena written by a parishioner as well as the Litany of the Sacred Heart of Jesus August 26 - September 3. The prayers will be posted here each day. Brochures are also available in the vestibule or you can find the text on our website at stmatt.net.

This week, our junior high students learned all about the expectations and responsibilities that come with being an older student at our school. They have shown they are ready to rise to the occasion - and were rewarded with a fun game of Five Spot run by our junior high teachers! With the recent weather, our campus has areas of standing water and heavy mud. Due to these conditions, we unfortunately must cancel our Back To School Festival for all parishioners.

School families are still invited to attend all scheduled school family meetings and supply drop-off. Supervision for children during the Kindergarten orientation will move to the Kindergarten classrooms.

There will no longer be supervision on the playground during the PK-8 presentation at 3:30. Parents planning to attend that meeting may bring children with them.
