Last Friday, Mennonite College of Nursing faculty and staff gathered at the Alumni Center for our Welcome Back Retreat!

Dean Linda Haddad, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Provost Ani Yazedjian, and consultant Dr. Nicole Robinson helped kick off the semester with thoughtful conversations and planning for a successful academic year.

Congratulations to Ashley Huizar, one of MCN's new Fall 2026 MSN Leadership & Management students, on being named a 2026 Red Cross Hero!

As part of this incredible honor, Ashley was invited to fly with the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds during the Chicago Air & Water Show this past weekend. What an unforgettable experience and well-deserved recognition of the impact she has made in her community!

We are so proud to have Ashley as part of the MCN family and can’t wait to see all she accomplishes!

Yesterday, we had the honor of celebrating our annual Stethoscope Ceremony in Springfield at the Memorial Learning Center!

This special tradition gave our students the opportunity to celebrate this important milestone alongside their families and classmates as they begin their journey as nursing students.

Following the ceremony, students learned more about what’s ahead during their time in the program, including clinical experiences, internships, and career opportunities through Memorial Health.

A special thank-you to Memorial Health for welcoming us into your space and helping us celebrate our students!
