Where can ISU students, faculty, and staff pick up safe solar glasses starting at 1pm? All the red triangles represent pick up points for 1 pair of glasses each! Green dots represent recycling boxes for after the event. ISU Office of Sustainability will work Astronomers Without Boarders to send our glasses to locations with upcoming solar eclipses without resources. Be a part of this big event!

Redbirds, who's ready to have some fun?! We're hosting an Escape Room, open to all students! Make a team (up to 6) and sign up! You can also sign up as individuals or as smaller teams, we'll pair you up with others so you can meet new people and make new friends. Student Health Services will be on the Quad Wednesday August 30. We will have information about the clinic, Pharmacy, the student group Student Health Advisory Council (SHAC), and giveaways. Make sure to stop at our table and see us!

Severe weather is expected today late afternoon/evening. The Bloomington Normal area is now in the red "Moderate" forecast area.; a significant threat upgrade. Impacts could include tornadoes, large hail and very high winds, 75+mph possible. Storms will move very quickly with strong winds preceding and following the storm with a continued threat of downed trees and power lines. Structural damage and power outages are likely. Your goals today: finalize securing or storing any items outside. Update your emergency preparedness kit. Have a plan of where to go in the event of a tornado or severe thunderstorm warning (interior spaces away from windows) and have multiple avenues to receive warnings. This is a potentially dangerous storm. Please stay weather aware and !
