Illinois State University’s new-student orientation program has introduced significant changes to better serve incoming students, including virtual academic advisement prior to on-campus sessions and expanded opportunities for students to complete key tasks before the semester starts.

According to Corey Burgess, associate director in University College who oversees the program, the change was overdue.
