Yesterday, our team along with the Career Center at Heartland Community College had the absolute pleasure of presenting to the Sunset Rotary Club of Bloomington-Normal

We loved sharing the life-changing impact WEI is making for our students and in our community. But even more than that, we loved discovering so many beautiful ways to align our mission with their core values of Service, Fellowship, Diversity, Integrity, and Leadership!

We traded laptops for safety goggles during today's visit with our John A. Logan Colleagues!

We veered off campus to tour Rivian's Training Center. This visit was a collaborative effort, beautifully spearheaded by the HCC Apprenticeship program alongside the Career Center.

We had the opportunity to see firsthand how they set their apprentice up for success. How wonderful it is to to share knowledge and build bridges that fuel student success.

As another Juneteenth celebration comes to an end, we’re rolling it back to look at some of the beautiful people who came out today!

We absolutely enjoyed visiting with everyone! Special thanks to our Navigator, Mia Jackson Tyus, our Career Center Coordinator, Jennifer Caldwell, and our Director, Nayoka Griffis, for representing WEI at Heartland Community College and the Black Student Union 🤝✨

Some of our absolute highlights included the entire program! Seeing current/former students, along with current/former colleagues, a Heartland Board of Trustees, and our most recent President’s Medallion award recipient out supporting the festivities!
