Emily Sharpe, chapter president, and Kenzie Jones, vice president, proudly represented the Norfork FFA Chapter at the Arkansas FFA Chapter Presidents’ Conference held at Camp Couchdale near Hot Springs. The conference is designed to prepare chapter presidents and upper-level officers for a successful year of leadership by developing skills in public speaking, teamwork, communication, goal setting, activity planning, and chapter facilitation. Participants also had the opportunity to network with FFA members from across the state, exchange ideas, and gain valuable leadership experiences they can bring back to their local chapters.

By attending the conference, Emily and Kenzie strengthened their leadership abilities and gained new strategies to help lead the Norfork FFA Chapter throughout the upcoming school year. Their participation reflects the chapter’s commitment to developing student leaders and promoting agricultural education within the school and community.
