In recognition of Public Service Recognition Week, join ASPA – Central Virginia Chapter for a timely discussion with Pete Atkinson, doctoral student and Principal Space Advisor with the Department of the Army. He’ll explore how change agents navigate bureaucratic politics and institutional resistance to lead large-scale transformation within highly hierarchical organizations.

Army ROTC Monarch Battalion will honor their commander, Lt. Col. Brandon Shah, with military's highest honor, a 21-gun salute, at Old Dominion University's S.B. Ballard Stadium on Thursday, April 2.

The memorial will bring together the campus and broader community at 12:30 p.m. to honor and reflect upon the life and legacy of our beloved Monarch.

The past two days have been heartbreaking as our Monarch Nation lost one of our own, Lt. Col. Brandon Shah, and two students were injured due to senseless violence.

As we grieve together and support our fellow Monarchs, we are and forever will be Monarch Strong.

ODU students, staff and supporters of Public Service are invited to attend a special virtual panel.

In recognition of Women’s History Month, Hawaiʻi County Council Member for District 1 Heather Kimball will present her ODU PhD research on the topic of “Integrating Indigenous Legal Systems with U.S. Local Government.”

This event offers an opportunity to engage with Heather Kimball's scholarship and public service work in local governance.
