Old Dominion University has a risk mgmt and insurance program in the Finance major. Also a chapter of Gamma Iota Sigma (GIS). And CPCU courses.
ODU has an undergraduate risk management and insurance (RMI) program as a concentration in the finance major. Also a chapter of Gamma Iota Sigma (GIS), which is a student club that promotes interest in risk management, insurance, and actuarial science. Three courses in the RMI program can count toward the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.

On Nov 9, 2016. Seven $1000 scholarships will be awarded to GIS/RMI students at this luncheon attended by about 100 industry professionals
