Park Place School is an urban independent Christian school that educates through the lens of Christ. Curriculum: Instruction in the basic skills is intense.
Subject areas include Reading, Phonics, Spelling, Writing and Mathematics. We implement instructional strategies that are research based. We use Virginia Standards of Learning and Common Core Curriculum as basic guidelines, but also take into account the strengths of the students. We had an absolute blast at the Community Trunk-or-Treat event in the Fenner St community! It's wonderful to see our community come together for such a fun and safe Halloween celebration. Big thanks to Community Connection Center, and all the fantastic partners for making it a memorable event. We're thrilled to be a part of it, and we can't wait for more community adventures in the future! 😊🍁

Both of these young men have really taken off with their education and extracurrricular endeavors. They are in sports, theater, and have great plans to do wonderful things with their gifts and talents. Mrs. Benns is still a beloved an unforgettable fixture in the PPS community. She passionately cares for our learners- past and present.
