Tornado Drill 2019 - Virginia Department of Emergency Management

Reminder that we "spring forward" this weekend as we go back to Daylight Saving Time this Sunday. This is a good time to replace the batteries in your smoke/carbon monoxide detectors!

Mark your calendar for Virginia's annual statewide tornado drill on Tuesday, March 19 at 9:45 a.m. Register your workplace, school or household at VAemergency.gov/tornadodrill and develop your tornado preparedness plan by reviewing the tornado guide at VAemergency.gov/tornadoes.
