Twenty years ago this evening, in our royal blue gowns, we gathered at the L. Douglas Wilder Performing Arts Center on the campus of Norfolk State University to place a bookmark in a continuous volume of work. Twenty years later, we pause, reflect, and celebrate our graduation from our dear olā Norview High. Over the course of the past two decades, we have endured and experienced a lot. Most, if not all, were not part of the SOLās, the daily lessons, or promises of a bright future we would experience. Yet, somehow, weāve survived it all (for most of us⦠even before 40). There have been success stories written along challenges endured and conquered. Since our days at the hangar located at 1070 Middleton Place, we have flown high, far, and wide to demonstrate that Norview grind and spirit. It is the one thing that lives in each of us, the one thing that bonds us, and the one thing that will continue to get us through it all. We have lost some fellow Pilots along the way, and we pause to remember them. As we celebrate 20 years today, let us grow closer together to appreciate our time with each other and what we have accomplished and what we will continue to accomplish in the years to come. Maybe, just maybe, we might be able to get back together this coming year to celebrate in person.
Congratulations everyone on 20 years! We are the Class of 2001 of Norview High School⦠and weāre still flying āfirstā class.

We'd like to get everyone's thoughts on our 20 yr reunion for next year. Given the current climate of things, we should start thinking about how we want to do this. I'm not sure if there are "other" plans or anything like that, but let's get it out in the open and start planning for OUR reunion. Feel free to post below, ideally we'd like to at least get a planning party voted on and in place within the next couple of months. Look forward to hearing from you all!
