šŸŽ¬ Today, we honor **Juneteenth**—a celebration of freedom, resilience, and the enduring power of truth.

At the Hurrah TV & Film Academy, we believe storytelling has the power to educate, inspire, and connect generations. Through film, television, and digital media, stories that might otherwise be forgotten can be preserved, shared, and experienced by audiences around the world.

Juneteenth reminds us of the importance of telling authentic stories, amplifying diverse voices, and ensuring that history is remembered and understood. As we celebrate this day, we recognize the filmmakers, journalists, artists, and storytellers who continue to bring these stories to life.

If you’re looking for ways to commemorate Juneteenth locally, Norfolk’s official Juneteenth Celebration at Town Point Park features educational exhibits, living history presentations, cultural programming, music, and opportunities to learn more about this important chapter in American history.

Happy Juneteenth from the Hurrah TV & Film Academy.

What an incredible way to wrap up the school year with our TV & Film Academy students from Norfolk Christian School! šŸŽ¬

This group of students brought so much creativity, energy, and enthusiasm to class all year long, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything they accomplished.
From learning behind-the-scenes production skills to growing their confidence using the camera and other studio equipment, they truly made this year unforgettable.

To celebrate their last day of school, Director/Teacher, Michael Bibbo surprised the students with a special lunch at the iconic Doumar’s — a fun and well-deserved treat for such an amazing group of kids! šŸ”šŸ¦

We are so thankful for each and every student and wish them the very best summer filled with fun, rest, and new adventures. We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to class in the fall for another exciting year at the TV & Film Academy! šŸŽ„
