Fits & Giggles Nebraska State Licensed Child Care Home II. Our mission is to provide a safe, developmentally appropriate "at home" environment for every child.

Our focus is to provide a stimulating early child care and education experience which promotes each child's social/emotional, physical and cognitive development. Our goal is to support children's desire to be life-long learners and to help children develop respect and kindness towards others and explore their independence.

Happy anniversary to Wendy! This lucky lady got to spend the whole day in staff training sharing her knowledge, her contagious smile, and a funny story or two. Wendy is a Norfolk lead preschool teacher and program assistant director.

Wendy began working for us in 2019 when she was assigned with us for practicum hours as she was obtaining her Early Childhood Degree at NECC.
Wendy has shown cooperation, patience, a growing passion for teaching, & immense dedication to "her" kids.

Wendy- we just can't imagine what life would be like without you around here! You bring us joy!

Reminder: Our team is excited and ready to learn on Friday!

All Full Time teachers will be attending 6 hours of Nebraska Department of Education approved training, followed by a two hour staff meeting which will include team shout-outs, sharing of what's to come, and more. We are looking at the big picture, company wide, so we can stay aligned with our mission to "Celebrate every child!"

Happy work-a-versary to those that celebrated in January! You didn't think we forgot, did you?

(Actually, we did for a minute, until the computer reminded us...and then we weren't quite back on socials yet...)

But seriously- Kudos to these teachers for their dedication to making a difference for our children and families over these past years.

In this post alone, we have 21 years of Fits & Giggles employment reflected in the 11 years since we opened our doors in 2015. If we combine our whole team's service it is over 60 years with F&G- not even counting prior experience!

Here's to another year of our little friends funniest daycare moments, hugs, laughter, boo-boo fixing, teaching, handling temper tantrums (mostly from children), and mastering getting 12 kids to eat, play and sleep at the same time! You are so valued and appreciated for what you do in this VERY exhausting, but rewarding role.
